Colorful animations and time element make practice more exciting.
Reward and badge system motivate and encourage competition. Can I use KooBits EDU internationally?
Yes. Our content is based on the Singapore primary education curriculum and is written in consultation with certified teachers. All questions are suitable for general practice or as a supplement to any learning curriculum. What's the business model?
We are piloting a new membership model where the content is free but parents pay to receive detailed monthly reports on their child’s learning progress. This is our bet that contextual information is more valuable than the content itself. What's the funding status of the company?
In earlier stages, we have received financial support from the Media Development Authority of Singapore and the National University of Singapore. Currently, we are funded through a Series A investment from Accel-X, a Singapore-based venture capital fund that invests in early stage technology companies that are highly scalable. -

North Zone Symposium – CHIJ St Nicholas Girls’ School (Primary)
Embarking on a project to harness ICT for Self-Directed Learning and Collaborative Learning in Chinese lessons, CHIJ St Nicholas Girls School (Primary) used KooBits EDU to conduct a number of programmes such as creating interactive classroom presentations for teachers and getting students to complete group research projects.
English Language Media & KooBits Competition – St Hilda’s PrimaryTo celebrate their appointment as the East Zone Centre of Excellence for English, St Hilda’s Primary School held a competition for schools in the East Zone to create an interactive storybook based on an animated film. The result? Unbelievably imaginative and enthralling works by students no more than 12 years old.
Hwa Chong Institution Digital Bookshelf ProjectIn order to create a secure and easy way to access library resources online, Hwa Chong Institution collaborated with KooBits to create a digital bookshelf for the school’s educators and students – allowing users to download and read research papers by teachers and students, yearbooks, and magazines from wherever they are.
Alternative Assessment – Zhangde PrimaryWhen the teachers at Zhangde Primary School decided to share their experiences on alternative assessment in school, they wanted something that was cost-effective and easy to distribute. Instead of producing CDs or a physical book, we helped them publish an interactive ebook that could contain videos and examples of students’ work, be easily downloaded and shared among teachers.
